My friend Denise and I wanted to get together for another foodie adventure. We invited AAJA-LA pals Joz & Henry along for the fun at Fat Spoon in Little Tokyo.

The food is fresh including the Seafood Salad with calamari, shrimp and scallops on a bed of mixed greens & curry sauce.

Tarako: Pasta with salted cod roe, cream, dried sunweed & shiso leaf. The thin noodles were nicely al dente with sauce clinging to every stand. An amazing sensation in your mouth and the clearly fresh ingredient made it great fun for your tastebuds!

Macaroni & Cheese is yummy. Among the Top 5 of the best I’ve ever had. Big fat noodles saturated and oozing melted cheese with a crunchy Panko topping.

The house specialty Uni & Mushroom Pasta with white wine & cream sauce was remarkable. The pasta was cooked perfectly and coated with a cream sauce oozing uni flavor and abundant with mushrooms! I could’ve eaten the whole massive bowl, it was so tasty!
