Tip: How To Pit Cherries

This is an easy effective way to get rid of the cherry pit before cooking with fresh cherries that I got from the kitchn.

1) Start with a bowl of de-stemmed cherries and pastry tip.

2) Place a cherry on top of the pastry tip, stem side down.

3) Press down firmly and the pit will stay ensconced in the tip and the rest of the fruit will slide down, ready for use.
