Tip: How to roast a bell pepper

What you need:
1 bell pepper
Knife
Cookie sheet
Oven

What you do:
1. Preheat oven to broil
2. Start with a freshly washed bell pepper

3. Core it and slice in half
4. Put both halves skin side up on your cookie sheet
5. Put cookie sheet into hot oven and broil until the skin is charred. Depending on how hot your oven gets it can take anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes.
6. Remove your cookie sheet from the oven and put the charred bell pepper into a zip loc bag and store in the fridge for 15 minutes.
7. Remove from bag and put your two halves on a cutting board and remove the skins. 20140412-144739.jpg
8. Chop and serve. At this point the whole household will come sniffing around asking for a taste test! Enjoy.
