Dinesh’s Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bars

What you need:
For the crust:
German chocolate cake mix
1 egg
1/3 cup canola oil

Filling:
8 oz lowfat cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar

Topping:
1 cup of semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

What you do:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×12 baking dish with Pam spray and set aside.
2. Mix German chocolate cake mix with egg and oil with a big spoon in a medium bowl.
3. When it reaches a crumbly texture remove a cup of it and set aside
4. Put remaining cake mix in prepared pan and pat down.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the middle rack until firm.
6. While it’s baking, in a small bowl blend cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth.
7. Pull the cake out and spread the cream cheese on top.
8. Sprinkle the reserved cake crumbles on top of cream cheese mixture and top with chocolate chips.
9. Put back in the oven for 18-20 minutes until the chocolate chips soften but not melted.
10. Let cool and then refrigerate until you’re ready to eat.
