Sunday night dinner: Sandesh


What you need:

3 pounds whole milk ricotta cheese

1/4 Agave syrup

2 teaspoons cardamom

1 tablespoon crushed pistachio

1 tablespoon crushed almonds

What you do:

1. Crush cardamom, pistachio and almonds.


2. Cool down ricotta cheese in steel pan over medium high heat for 30 minutes. Until moisture evaporates.


3. Spray cooking spray on steel serving platter.


4. Add agave syrup to cooked ricotta and cook for 5 minutes.


5. Put the mixture in your platter and sprinkle with nuts and cardamom. Refrigerate until it sets.
