Birthday brownies

This sinfully rich brownie treat is very simple to make. Just take a brownie mix, top with marshmallows that you soften in the oven and top with chocolate frosting.

What you need:

For the brownies:
Brownie mix
1/2 package of mini-marshmallows

For the chocolate frosting
2 cups of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 stick of melted butter
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

What you do:

1. Make the brownies according to the package. Put the batter in a 8×8 pan and bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
2. While the brownies are baking mix up your ingredients for the frosting and whip until smooth. Set aside.
3. When you have inserted a toothpick into the brownies and it comes up clean, turn the oven off and pull the brownies out of the oven.
4. Top the brownies with the marshmallows and put the pan back into the hot oven to soften the marshmallows. About 2 minutes.
5. Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
6. Top with the frosting you made earlier allowing it to drip down on top of the marshmallows and down the sides.
7. Refrigerate (to allow frosting to set) until you are ready to eat it. Enjoy!
