Ina’s super-rich pie crust

What you need:
3 cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup vegetable shortening, cubed
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
6-8 tablespoons ice cold water
Food processor

What you do:
1. Combine the dry ingredients and pulse in food processor
2. Add in ice cold shortening and butter and pulse to a sandy texture.
3. Add in ice cold water one tablespoon at a time. Pulse until the dough begins to come together. Do not over mix!! It will not look like a ball of dough. If you get to that point it is over mixed.
4. Press dough into the shape of a disc or log. Wrap in Saran Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Roll out. Fill. Bake. Enjoy.
