Blueberry Scones with Lemon Glaze


What you need


2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup of Splenda
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
5 tablespoons butter, cut
1 1/2 cup blueberries
1 lemon, freshly juiced
Zest of one lemon
1 cup nonfat or 2% milk

Zest of one lemon
Juice of one lemon
1/2 cup of Splenda
1/2 cup of Agave Nectar

What you do
1. Preheat to 400 degrees
2. Sift dry ingredients. Cut butter in mixture.
3. Fold in blueberries.
4. Fold in milk.
5. Add lemon zest and lemon juice
6. Drop scones onto baking tray prepared with cooking spray, parchment paper or silpat mat.
7. Bake scones until golden brown on top. About 15 minutes.
8. Remove from baking tray and cool on rack.
9. Add glaze while the scones are still warm. Enjoy!
