From Mom’s Kitchen: This is another recipe passed down from my Mom: Sunita Swaroop. She is one of the best cooks I know and I am so happy I have some of her recipes here for me!

What you need:
5 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil
About 4 cups of water

What you do:
1. Combine ingredients using a little water at a time and knead dough to sticky yet firm consistency.

2. Divide dough into 36 balls. Roll out into flat disk (of about 6 to 7 inches) with a rolling pin on a floured surface.
3. Cook on griddle heated to medium high heat. Make sure one side has small brown spots. This will help them inflate.

4. Flip over to roast over your open gas/electric stovetop until the rotis inflate.

5. Eat while warm. Enjoy!!
