Green Beans by the Berge Sisters


What you need:
2 pounds of French green beans
2/3 applewood smoked bacon
4 oz slivered almonds
4 oz cranberries
4 oz of Girard’s White Balsalmic dressing
4 oz of Gorgonzola cheese

What you do:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Blanche green beans
3. Take bacon. Spice it heavily with freshly ground pepper to cover the bacon and bake for 16 minutes until crisp. Rotate sheet once 8 minutes in.
4. Let it cool and then crumble or chop.
5. Put beans in serving dish. Add bacon, cheese, almonds, cranberries and dressing. Serve.
