From Mom’s Kitchen: This is another recipe passed down from my Mom: Sunita Swaroop. She is one of the best cooks I know and I am so happy I have some of her recipes here for me!

What you need:
5 cups of All purpose flour
1 teaspoon Salt, adjusting to taste
1 teaspoon ajwain
1 cup of olive Oil
1 cup water

What you do:
1. Mix first four ingredients.
2. Add water to make a firm dough. Don’t add so much water that it becomes loose. Knead it until the dough’s firmness resembles that of puri dough.
3. Roll the dough out to 1/4 inch thickness.
4. Cut the dough with a knife or pizza cutter diagonally so it resembles a 1-inch diamond in length.
5. Fry in hot oil over medium high heat until a light golden brown.
6. Drain oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess oil. Enjoy!
